Style Me - H&M

Shoes - £29.99/Shorts - £19.99/Bra - £7.99/Bag - £14.99/Top - £7.99 All H&M

Every single time I go on this website I find serious gems!!! I mean honestly it's killing me. I WISH I could say all these items were on their way into my closet but sadly saving hard and it being January means lack of funds therefore I am unable to treat these items to a loving home.
When it comes to the boots I will more than likely look at a few times over the next couple of days and justify buying them, I mean 30 quid is EXTREMELY reasonable.
I just can't help myself when it comes to H&M, it's affordable trendy items get me every time.
This whole outfit just fills me with joy - I would strut around in the ensemble quite happily.

The high waist shorts and the stripy top are just dying to be thrown together and the backpack is a great alternative to a tote. I love soft triangle bras so pretty and girly. To tie the whole look together I would wear some barely there 15 denier black tights, chunky ribbed dark grey socks, my hair crimped and half up/half down and a slick of black eye liner. OH! Not to mention some chunky silver rings and a pendant necklace. Perfection.

Flying High Like An Eagle

Top - Zara/AA Disco Pants/Shoes - H&M/Bag - EBay/Ring - Crafted/Necklace- Primark/Watch - Michael Kors

I have always had an incredible obsession with shoes. I cannot even begin to explain how ridiculous it is. No matter what I will always find the money to buy some have to have heels.
These were an absolute steal just £10 of our finest British pounds and four weeks waiting for delivery later ta da; pretty mesh boots.
I saw them a roughly a month ago on Angelica Blick's blog, she is my ultimate blogging and style icon. The woman has impeccable taste. I loved them so decided I would grab myself a pair also.
Styled with my go to trousers and this stunning silk sweat top I think they look lush.

So what is it about shoes that some women, ok ALL women find so irresistible? Well in my case it has to be how a pair make me feel. Take the classic black pointed court - ultimate power shoe, sexy and simple. They can be worn with a pencil skirt or skinny jeans and they have an air of don't mess with me glam.
The humble sneaker - makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside a little hug for my tootsies, yet different styles and colours make them a staple in my wardrobe - ok so mainly all black but the high tops to the converse they all say something different.
The simple strappy platform sandal - delicate with an attitude. They give me a girly feeling with the added height, who doesn't want to feel like Gisele?
I have a shoe for every mood and every possible situation. I would never be seen in willies or furry sheepskin boots (we all know what brand) they just aren't my thing. I am a strictly heels or sneaks girl. Even some of my trainers have platforms of a hidden heel (thanks Isabel Marant) one day I will own a pair of the Betty wedge trainers, I adore the Bekett too; but so many people have them.
Who am I kidding I would love both!
More often than not I find myself scouring the net for new additions to the closet, determined to give my feet the prettiest companions.

Simple Little Lady

T-shirt - River Island/Skirt -New Look/Boots - Miss Selfridge/Scarf - Zara

So this is how I looked today - I LOVE these boots, wore them to work all day (baring in mind I am always on my feet) NO pain or discomfort. Plus I gained a few extra inches in height which helps with my job, being short is irritating when it comes to hairdressing.
I love this skirt (sadly waiting to get my camera which will help with my photo quality and a tripod will help my shooting) you can't see that it's velvet - got it in New Look for £5!!! Ok so it's 4 sizes too big but tucked into my tights it stays up pretty well.
This is about as girly as it gets for me. I feel so much more comfortable in jeans.
The photos aren't great this eve - I ran out of light today so had to shoot these in the hallway.
I love the winter for the fashion and cold bright mornings, however I am excited for summery evenings and denim shorts - after the Christmas season I look forward to the summer.
Believe it or not I adore all seasons but we need something to look forward to as creatures it keeps us happy.

Morning 2013 - I'm Ready for Ya!

"It's the ones who say they are 'normal', that need to be watched"

I've woken up this morning bright as a button, well as bright as a creature of the night can be first thing; and I am ready for the new year. I spent yesterday in my jammies doing a huge amount of nothing. Food, cuddles and lots of tea. I love lazy days.
I wanted to say Happy Wednesday to you all and an outfit post will pop up later, tomorrow a hair post will follow.
I plan to eat well and get my flabby back side into exercise again - not a resolution, a lifestyle choice I have let slip over the holidays.

New Year - Fresh Thoughts

HAPPY NEW YEAR - I'm back with a vengeance, I have taken time out from my ramblings as I have had a really hectic tail end of the year. I started a fantastic new job - if you live in the Watford area make sure you pay me a visit at Edge Salon in Croxley Green. It's a fabulous place and we are a talented team, so if your locks need some attention you know where to go. It's also a totally Organic salon offering high quality products and colour systems that use no ammonia, harsh chemicals or plastics. Perfect for people who suffer from allergies as they are 100% organic.
Christmas was incredible this year, my boy and family really spoilt me and I had such a blast.
SO - New Year new thoughts, I am NOT making silly resolutions to give up something, I am making my thought process change to a positive, I can be extremely negative and self destructive so I am eliminating those thoughts and looking to the future.
I am going to put lots of effort into my blog too - expressing my personal style whilst also offering styling tips etc. I am very passionate about fashion and style so  will put it all into something constructive.
I hope y'all had an incredible festive season and 2013 is kind to all of you.
Outfit posting will resume tomorrow I am very excited to show you all the lovely new things I have received.

My Hair is my Thing

Bad updating! I've been absent the last few days due to starting a new job and I've been poorly so today is only a small post.
My hair has been the crux of all my appearance issues my whole life. I have changed it so many times because I get bored easily and ALWAYS regretted cutting, I have a very manly face and short hair does NOT suit me. I've been growing it forever - I want it at my waist and 6 years of extensions meant I had an instant fix but I failed to look after it properly. So it never grew past my shoulders. Now it's fairly long, and I feel the colour needs a revamp. I have been dark, black/brown for ages now and I would like to go nearer the lighter brunette side. Not too light as I have really dark eyes but I have scoured the net for a couple of pics - what do you think? My reasoning is, if I try the colour of Mila Kunis - will I magically inherit her face too?
Can't blame a girl for wishing.
